Start Vim in easy mode, just like the executable was called "evim" or "eview". Makes Vim behave like a click-and-type editor.

That way, you don't have to re-invent anything and you have vim.

I just checked it has permissions to view my camera (I don't have one, but still...). I have a Canon printer and still prefer lpd when possible.
