Except that it is explicitly forbidden by law.

IANAL but Title 15, Chapter 50, Section 2306 states:

"Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent a supplier or warrantor from entering into a service contract with the consumer in addition to or in lieu of a written warranty if such contract fully, clearly, and conspicuously discloses its terms and conditions in simple and readily understood language."

I take that to mean that if McDonalds has a service contract that forbids them from repairing the McFlurry machine themselves then it's perfectly legal.

IDK where they're getting that range from, no where near that according to Ford. The specs for the F150 in the summary are all from different engines.

Ford F-150: High-output turbocharged V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
From H.O. EcoBoost® Twin-Turbocharged V6

Ford F-150: 850 miles; 26-gallon tank of diesel ... that's 32.7MPG
From BEST MPG: 3.0L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V6 @ 30MPG

Ford F-150: 13,200 pounds; 3,270 pounds
From 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 for the payload
From 3.5L EcoBoost® Twin-Turbocharged V6 for the towing capacity

Only diesel available in the raptor is the 3.0L power stroke, 250HP, 440lb.-ft., 21/29/24MPG (city/highway/combined) for 4x2, 4x4 is less @20/25/22

In ISO 9001:2015, the requirement is called “Measurement Traceability” and calibration is a component of this requirement. It is written in such manner that your company needs to first decide if “measurement traceability” is a requirement that applies to your company. It is quite possible to have businesses where no measurement devices are used. If that is the case then you can deem the requirement as not applicable to the business.

I've never used slack but I'm an avid IRC user and you're incorrect on several points.

If you are offline and someone sends you a message in private (or posts in a channel you are in) Slack will still record the message and send it to you later. IRC doesn't have that for channels unless you have a logging bot (and you better hope the logging bot didn't fail somewhere and not catch the messages you needed to see). And for PMs on IRC you both need to be on at the same time.

MemoServ is a utility allowing IRC users to send short messages to other IRC users, whether they are online at the time or not, or to channels(*). (*) By default, any user with at least level 10 access on a channel can read that channel's memos. This can be changed with the ChanServ LEVELS command.

Slack makes it easy to keep things private and control who gets access. Unless you are invited you wont get in period, no need to worry about spam bots or unwanted guests.

CHANSERV supports the following. among others ... PRIVATE Hide channel from LIST command RESTRICTED Restrict access to the channel not to mention the tried and true +i channel mode

Slack also makes it easy to just embed stuff into the channel. Trivial to upload files and make them available (either in a channel or in a PM).

TDCC, XDCC ... how long has it been since you're used IRC?
