I played EVERQUEST once for about 10 minutes and found the combat to be very boring. Push a button and wait. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
I'm 99.999999% FPS player. Are the changes in SWG going to be more FPS-centric? Of all the MMO's out there, this change sounds like it would appeal to gamers like myself.
Besides...it's STARWARS!
