Re:DVD RAM's will soon be the new wave (Score 1)

If we're really looking towards the future of storage and not the near-future, there has been mention of molecular storage advances (last November, I think) that are most likely what we'll be using maybe 5 or 10 years from now. I may be a bit optimistic, but I think that might solve the capacity/decay issues (although local vs. network backup is still another issue).
