WTF is North Central Philly - if you can’t get our neighborhoods right, how are you going to survive our mean streets?

The headline is, at best, misleading as nowhere is it implied that Apple Notes is gaining Markdown support but merely the ability to export Notes in Markdown. This is further compounded by stating that Gruber “is not a fan” of adding this ability in the lead paragraph. While Gruber doesn’t support being able to use Markdown in Notes (which is not what is being reported), he clearly states that he is a fan of allowing Notes to export in Markdown: "But Markdown export from Notes? That sounds awesome."

There are frequent posts like this one taking at face value an analyst’s prediction and commenting on it as if it’s gospel. (Not just for Apple but for other companies as well.) Has anyone looked at the track record of the analysts to see how accurate their intel has been in the past?

I don’t understand how something that was never announced with no release date can be postponed. Tech journalists were just speculating about when Apple might release their VR glasses and now labels them “postponed” because their prognostications were wrong.
