Journal Journal: Migrating to Eclipse
Recently, http://raindance.tigris.org/ has made an attempt to move itself from Code::Blocks to Eclipse 3.2. While I don't want to type a lot and get it all erased at once, I'll say that Eclipse has a lot of positive traits with, however, some negative such as:
- Slowness on A1800+/512MB in comparison with Emacs+FAR, Code::Blocks and even VS2005. I think that's due to principles of JVM.
