Why don't we use smaller architecture in larger dies, so that we have higher densities, and higher speeds? Also that wouldn't that allow room for more cores and cache.
It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
