When I heard of the Apple-Intel move, I was one of the "What the Heck is going on" folks.
After reading the Cringley article, I am convinced
that he's probably right.
I have been a bit of a Mickey-Slosh basher for
years, not so much because it's popular, but
because they continue to control the (USA) market
by providing mostly inferior products.
I'm not saying I could write anything better, but there are plenty of folks out there WHO CAN AND DO.
I would LOVE to migrate to a MAC type OS, or LINUX
variant at work. I can (and do) do anything I want at home, but business tend to stick with what
they've invested in.
I'll be keeping my eye on THIS one for SURE!
