LED bulbs do cause migraines for me, and the problem is that I the new bulbs often look nice enough that I don't notice until I am ready to vomit. It sounds like your friend may be lying, but that actually is a problem with LED bulbs. Some of them are actually fine for me, too. Perhaps different manufacturers have a different flicker frequency? I really don't know why some make me sick and some don't. https://www.medicalnewstoday.c...

1. You are not forced to use Apple Maps when using CarPlay. 2. I've been using CarPlay since 2018 and it has never crashed, not once. I've used it both wired and wirelessly, depending on whether or not I needed to charge my phone. 3. Force restarting an iPhone is not the same as rebooting. You showed us how to force restart, rebooting is much simpler. I'm not kidding.

I live in Connecticut. Please check page 40, you just failed your driver's license test. https://portal.ct.gov/dmv/-/me... "Sometimes, it is best or necessary to speed up to avoid a collision. This may happen when another vehicle is about to hit you from the side or from behind and there is room to the front to get out of danger. Be sure to slow down once the danger has passed."

The recommended tactic to avoid or reduce damage from a rear-end/side-impact crash that appears inevitable is to accelerate. This will lessen the impact speed with the closing vehicle in a rear-impact collision and potentially move you completely past the point of impact in what would otherwise be a side-impact crash - its also better to be hit further back if you're hit from the side as there tends less weight there, thus decreasing the amount of kinetic energy expelled during the collision.

So you do admit the debt is an asset, and therefore worth more than $0.00. Taxes are also a debt until April, but the government counts on that revenue as well - but everyone and their cousin complained that we couldn't afford the Trump tax cuts. (FTR, I don't like all the cuts he made - especially to corporate tax). If tax cuts aren't free, neither is this. I don't like it when Republicans yell that tax cuts will pay for themselves, and this has the exact same feeling. The federal government is foregoing the collection of over $100B. There is some merit to it, and some people will be truly helped, I'm just not going to pretend that the cost is $0.00 when it clearly is not.

The federal government pays interest on the bonds it issues, including bonds that were issued for the original student debt. By cancelling some of the debt, we are reducing the anticipated revenue from the repayment of these loans. However, the federal government is still obligated to pay the interest on the issued bonds - regardless of what debt they cancel here. I am all in favor of you writing that check for $0.00, just be sure to also include the interest on the bonds originally issued for the loans.

No offense, but its rather short-sighted to call it Trump's deficit when we all agreed, as a nation, that we needed to spend an extraordinary amount of money to get through the pandemic. This was bi-partisan, until it could be used as a partisan attack. You can see it for yourself. Trump was running deficits under $1T/annually until Covid. I would consider 2021 to be another Covid year, and also off-limits to that sort of thought. But Biden's deficit in 2022 is higher than any of the three years Trump held office before the pandemic. I am no fan of Trump, but just be honest with yourself about why spending was so high in 2020. https://datalab.usaspending.go...

Of course, no nation is perfect. But just saying that there are other problems in America does not negate the claim that caste practices came along with Indian immigration to the US. Do you have something to counter their claim, or are you just trying to throw shade elsewhere so you don't have to confront it? I don't know how pervasive it is here, but I have witnessed it myself. We all know that this isn't the only problem with discrimination in the US, but it is a problem that needs to be addressed. You don't fix discrimination by pointing out that there are other bad people.

You know what needs gold to work? Computers. You wouldn't have been able to post this astonishingly stupid paragraph without the gold in your computer. I have no BTC, but I can still call you out for being an idiot because I have a small amount of gold in my computer. Gold is used to treat some cancers, arthritis, and hearing implants. Gold is used to protect astronauts while they are in space. Silver is used in electronics, solar panels, treating bacterial infections, photography, and to protect spacecraft while we're in space. Now, explain to me again why gold and silver are only valuable because they are shiny and we, as a society, have decided that they have value.
