Can you really call a game that puts 30-50 players together a MMO? How about just a NASA MO game? Didn't they already collaborate with Activision on a shuttle sim for C-64 years ago? If I remember right, it was terrible.

This game was huge for me. I played it on the Genesis platform and still emulate the game from time to time.

I've never seen an application that was more than a page long that didn't require SSN info. Several things like immigration, criminal record status, workman's comp claims, or any number of things require a SSN. In the original poster's case, the SSN shall set you free. When his doesn't match the sexual predator's, he's in the clear.

Kinda puts a damper on the "One Cent Digital Converter" promotions we're now seeing. I just got one from TigerDirect this morning as a matter of fact. If they were smart they would offer them as rebates instead of coupons, then they wouldn't have to pay out nearly as much.

I've never had a bad experience ordering directly from Amazon. They ship as fast as anyone else I deal with, and in many cases faster. I've also had better luck with Amazon's 3rd party sellers than eBay's. My single bad experience came from a 3rd party seller whom I gave a neutral review to since he sold something that was "like new" as "new". It was a collectible, and the original packaging meant a lot, but I kept it none the less because it was still a decent deal. The dude ended up constantly emailing me, and eventually calling my home phone asking me to change my review. After Amazon threatened to pull his 3rd party seller rights he finally sent me one last email to say I was banned from ever buying from him again.

"I'd like to see a Windows-free educational system." I'd certainly have to disagree. I'd like schools to teach children how to be comfortable using software they will continue to use beyond school. I don't want schools to make the same mistake ours (or at least mine) did in the 80's by wasting their time teaching kids how to use pascal, fortran, or cobol on AppleIIe's when the reality was that did nothing to prepare us for the IBM dominated workplace. So until Windows is not the global standard OS that children will encounter later in life, they should continue to learn to be fluent with it.

Wrong, people stick with XP because Vista is horrible. If Windows had released a new industry standard in OS with Vista, Vista would be a selling point to the general consumer, and one wouldn't want to purchase a new PC with outdated software. Microsoft's release of a poor OS does not equate to a reason to change to Linux. That's like saying the new model Ford Mustang stinks, so now its time to buy a bicycle.

Yep, except it was a black ink pen. Of course it was then scanned into a machine that gave you a nice message when it read successfully: An American flag with the words "Congratulations, you're fucked!"
