This sound very interesting. Maybe there are business opportunities with Aliens. What do you think they would be ready to buy from us? Maybe something to show an even distrubution of chiral molecules could avoid their friends on other planets to also get discovered by nasty sellers from Earth, but I am not sure we should sell such a thing. Fearing invasions of privacy is dated 1948 when Orwell wrote his most famous book. There are even other examples before. Is it now not too late? Otherwise we should roll back Google, Facebook and a lot of other daily friends.

What is happening to the Korean today is what happens to people working for Corporations when they suddenly are banned from checking their personal email, facebook, etc. They can stop for a while the dissent, but the level of bitterness increases gradually until a real crisis will happen.

Do you think democracy has ever been applied? If the Web was left uncontrolled do you think that it would grow democratically or maybe crowds always glue into tribes who delegate to a leader? Can that be called democracy? Are examples like Wikipedia or even Slashdot good products of democracy?

I would go for C++ because it is very rich and powerful. Once you got that in depth, manipulating languages such as Java or C# would be a breeze, because their object model is simplier than C++'s. C is nice but I feel it is part of history now.
