Comment I am not a freeloader (Score 1) 116

I have had to cancel certain over the top TV services and switch to others for a simple fact, our household watches our subscriptions in 2 different locations 45 minutes apart all the time. If I'm north of my home in San Diego I watch television on my boat over my hotspot in Dana Point, meanwhile my wife is at home watching it on our home TV. Its been nothing but problems having this simple scenario work. I pay for 2 streams, I have 2 locations where I watch television. One in the San Diego TV market and one in the Los Angeles TV market. Sports have been problematic, if I'm 30 minutes north of my home in Orange County I can watch the San Diego Padres, if I am home I cannot via MLB. Being on a hotspot doesn't even work on some platforms recently. Being on my Roku doesn't work. Being out of market sometimes and sometimes not work. Stop punishing those of us who pay for your services or I will pay nothing and continue to watch via other means.

study enough government subsidies and its funny how prices rise to meet these rebates and fall as soon as they are removed, see Tesla as the most recent example. If you are wanting to pass extra money to a corporation to accelerate technology, fine, but don't pretend like the end user is going to save any money.
