An anonymous reader writes: The EFF has joined CAIR's countersuit against right-wing talk radio host Michael Savage. The suit is a reaction to Savage's RICO allegations against CAIR for posting extended recordings of his radio show on their website. CAIR believes that their posting of the copyrighted material falls under fair use.

Matt Butrovich writes, "In 2007, things began to change for EA that a lot of people may have overlooked. They lost the number one publisher spot to Activision. They lost their CEO and found a new one in John Riccitiello. And most importantly, they lost faith in their business model and realized that they weren't helping the game industry."
EA is usually considered the "bad guy" but perhaps they have finally realize the error of their ways? I think the recent history shows us that they have but only time can tell if it will continue into the future. I really hope they finally realize that they were a bad influence on the gaming industry. Their new CEO seems to have his head on straight. What do you guys think?"
