I am just pointing out that the cost of moving would far exceed any, what dusting or cleaning of a object already placed in a museum. I grew up in northern VA in the mid 70's. I just used DC as a reference point as many do not realize how much the general area has grown. It was farm land when I was a kid now its a mecca hub of some of the largest data centers and well a lot of "critical stuff" There are so many towns- community's "smushed" into NVA

The shuttle is just fine in it current location. I have been to the Udvar-Hazy Center many times and it is in good company with many other important, historic aircraft. It is right down the street from Dulles airport, about 45 min from DC on a good day. In other words it is accessible to so many more people than it would be in Huston. I have no issue with Huston, a great city, but the cost is just wasteful.

Submission + - Soft vine-like robot helps rescuers find survivors in disaster zones. (foxnews.com)

MicroBitz writes: "SPROUT, short for Soft Pathfinding Robotic Observation Unit, is a flexible, vine-like robot developed by MIT Lincoln Laboratory in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame. Unlike rigid robots or static cameras, SPROUT can "grow" into tight, winding spaces that are otherwise inaccessible, giving first responders a new way to explore, map and assess collapsed structures."

"Beyond disaster response, the technology could be adapted for inspecting military systems or critical infrastructure in hard-to-reach places, making SPROUT a versatile tool for a variety of high-stakes scenarios."

No the patient would be quite focused. LSD used with a "good" physiologist or better a psychiatrist because they went to med school. LSD is a very useful drug for therapists. It really has the potential of changing the landscape like a MRI or microscope for doctors of the body, but here we have a real tool for therapists. It has been past over too long, because of public and political ignorance. A expert can cut 10y of therapy to less than 1.

Let me be blunt. I have not taken LSD in 10+ years, but I had my time... of large doses, clean as you could hope for. (half D half L isomer) LSD experiences. It forces you to look at your past and come to terms with regrets. You will be the better for it. And can be very fun and interesting if you relax. I have no desire to use it soon. I have to many painful regrets, but i am not dieing (hopefully) anytime soon.
