This person says that "jews were beaten (and avoided, ratted out) by their neighbors" and all of a sudden that's an anti-semitic statement? Just for the record - Jews were also hidden and saved by their neighbors. But the first statement is in no way anti-semitic, it rightly points out that it wasn't just the government who hated on Jews, it was the ordinary citizens who picked up on the hate, too. In fact ordinary citizens were instrumental in spreading the hate.

Well honestly, it could just be hate or it could be threats from those hunting them down and their obvious inclination towards the safety of their own families. Could be a bit of both. It must have been hell for those ratting out those people with their families and kids but whatever the case. Her statement was by no means anti-semitic and can't possibly be unless the snitches were one of them, which would be a really stupid assumption. Plus ben Shapiro had her on his show a couple of days ago and we all know what Shapiro's origins are. :/

Good to hear that. I was bored of its age-old interface. Literally every major media player has evolved in terms of UI and feels more like 2015 if not 2021 but vlc still seems to be stuck in 1999 for some reason despite being the most reliable media player.

True. part of that has more to do with how quickly Linux got adopted (it's userbase still sucks compared to Mac and ofc, Windows) and the fact that Linux offers better driver/software support and ease of use. I use Clear Linux OS and have tried other distros as well as BSD distros like Nomad and Ghost but Linux now feels easier to use and whenever I feel stuck, I know some community might have a solution for me. I know the package managers and solution vary distro to distro but an alien distro still feels more at home.
