The problem of companies listing positions they have no intention of filling (often even interviewing for !!) is far worse than this.

But also keep in mind :

Life doesn't always deal out consequences with such surgical boundaries. Many civilians died in Hiroshima because of what their leaders threw them into.

Also many Chinese companies are just shell orgs for the government.
