More Clues...Why contact Bose to market IT? (Score 1)

Why would you contact Bose to market IT? There are an infinite number of devices that could still fit the clues we have been presented, but this makes me think of IT as an electronic entertainment device.
I found this comment further down in a Wired article( http://www.wirednews.com/wired/archive/8.09/kamen_ pr.html ):
