Well, on slashdot the 1984 reference which comes to me most often is of the Junior Anti-Sex League.Those with tinfoil hats will surely be thinking of the youth in Orwell's 1984.
Real computer scientists don't comment their code. The identifiers are so long they can't afford the disk space.
