Journal: Digital storage media forbidden in Bavaria (Germany)

From this semester on every digital storage medium has to be turned off in Bavarian schools with the justification of preventing kids from exchanging videos containing pr0n and violence.

5. 1) Mobile phones and every other digital medium, which are not used for education purpose, has to be turned off in the school and on the school ground. 2) Exceptions may be granded by the tutor or the supervisor in charge 3) The mobile phone or every other digital storage medium can be retained temporarly on violation

Some interesting questions turn out of that

• Are usb storages turned on or off if they are not plugged in?
• What's about using my analog walkman?
• Not the use of digital storage media is forbidden - it has just be turned off. Have you ever tried to turn off a cd? My disc-man is no digital storage medium and so i can use it together with cds whenever i want :-/
