I did not know that, Thanks, I have sometimes seen small grey boxes on the pole but I guess they are also part of the phone system then. I guess they really don't have much use then once the phone lines are gone, It would be quite nice to get rid of all the overhead lines going to the houses, I certainly don't use mine anymore, In fact I have a lot of phone line and tv coax running around the building that could all go too.

I was thinking more decorative, But I guess it's just extra cash that could be used to fix the roads and such.

In the UK the electricity, water and gas are all usually underground, There will be one big transformer somewhere that serves many houses, Power crosses the country on pylons above ground. The phonelines are underground too until the point at which they distribute to the houses then there is a pole with lines coming off to maybe 6 or 8 houses, That is what I have seen in my experience and how my current house/street is set up. We don't have much else on those poles, we don't have any power transformers like I have seen in the US. So the pole is redundant once the phone lines are off, My own experience suggests most of those poles are timber so could just be cut at ground level I guess, and the wire being external wouldn't be too hard to recover.. Or maybe they could add a light to the pole or something.

This will give them lots of faces to train their AI on, That's really all it's for, Not for our security or anything that might benefit the end user.

Only thing I can think of is they will use tiny rockets or air jets in place of propellors... Carrying an air or fuel tank will be less of an issue in the low gravity I guess. *shrug*

Due to my experience with the Neo I have just ordered a 15" Air, Should be here tomorrow.

And the reason I bought a Neo was that is isn't Windows, So unless this Intel chip is in laptops that run some other OS it isn't solving the problem. I'm just so tired of waiting for Windows to get better.
