Intel keeping pace with Moore's Law

Mad_Rain writes: The San Jose Mercury News, New York Times and others are reporting on Intel's announcement that they are much further along in the the use of new materials in their processors than IBM and AMD. Intel expects to be using these materials in the manufacturing of their chips by the end of the year. One observer suggested about Intel's research program "I wouldn't be surprised if members of these teams were up for the Nobel prize."
