M.C. Hampster's Journal: Survivor: Pearl Islands - Episode 2

Sorry for the extremely late posting. I had a very busy Friday and weekend. My plan is to post a new entry on Friday after the episode, but so far that has not been working out. And I will be leaving town on Thursday morning so the post, again, won't appear on time.

So here we are: Survivor: Pearl Islands - Episode 2

Last week, we learned that the Morgan Tribe is {a | a = mostly losers}. This week, we learned that they are {a - 1 | a = mostly losers}. Unfortunately, I have linear algebra on the brain, and so I have turned into a complete geek. Sue me.

We had our first reward challenge, with Drake (of course) being the winners. Another twist this season: the winner of the reward challenge will get a piece of a map leading them to buried treasure AND they get to go and plunder a single item from the other team's camp. This is brilliant and keeps up the pirate theme of the show.

What else have we learned? Oh yeah, Rupert is a psycho. But we still love him. And the surefire way to not get voted out in the game is to whine and moan about wanting to go home.

Any predictions for the upcoming show? I'm guessing that we'll continue to see Morgan go down in flames. At least we won't have to look at Ryan anymore. I just don't see how that guy could have lasted out there for 39 days. Everytime they would cut to him I thought we were accidently seeing footage from weeks down the road.
