An air speeder specifically used by the alliance to train pilots because it's fligth controls are similiar to an x-wing. And you can't compare space flight like we know it to star wars. Every ship there handles pretty like an atmospheric craft even while in flight. So that is a universe thing. And now that you mention it: Luke's favourite past time was actually cannyon running with a T16. While doing this he damaged it, which is the cause for it sitting in the bay behind the droid repair room in the movie and also the cause for him using the land speeder to go search for R2D2. It actually fits very nice. Of course he has talents that are somewhat unlikely for a backwater water farmer, however they at least build a plausible backstory for why he has those. Rey is basically a hobo rummaging through plane wreckages and then goes of flying a fighter plane. They underlying problem I suppose is that she had to be better in everything than Luke, in the writers mind. Her childhood must be worse than his with no loved ones, no money, no friends and she still must be better in everything than anyone (including Luke) else. Because she is the main character of the new movies and must surpass the old. That is also why Luke is now an old coward and not the idealistic Jedi who walked into his worst enemies hands because he felt the shred of light in his father's thoughts. Unwilling to kill a man who crippled him, destroyed his real and his foster family just because he believed. Now he fears a child so much that he ponders killing him and when that goes wrong he hides and sulks. I still can't forgive them for having him throw his father's lightsaber away for a fucking slapstick joke. That was one of the worst things for me in the new movies.

Luke was already a capable pilot. It is not rubbed into your face, but there are some very small hints like "Yeah I can hit 2m creatures from a T16 Skyhopper easy peasy" or his plans to join the academy to become a pilot or Biggs referring to him as the best bush pilot this side of Mos Eisley or his father being referred to as the best pilot ever. Plus he is a force user, which usually heigthens your reflexes by a lot even when not trained. Plus he has been trained for several days both by a Jedi master and 2 very capable pilots and the movie even shows you how he's making progress. Plus they mention that the T16 he's been flying is very similar to an X-wing... His flying talent does not come out of nowhere. Rey on the other hands has been abandoned on a planet when she was 6 and has never even flown a ship when she starts up the falcon after some decades of sitting in the sun (Yeah btw it takes the Falcon 15 min on a good day to get ready to fly), learns the controls in seconds and defeats several TIE pilots. Totally the same thing. Not to mention all the other shit she teaches herself. Mind controlling a guard? Easy! Fighting a sith with several years of training in a light saber combat? Easy! (Remember Luke getting his ass kicked on cloud city?) The only of her skills that is halfway plausible is the scavenger/mechanic talent. And even that is not really strong point. By scavenging parts from broken star ships you become a mechanic skilled in the workings of hyper drives? Meh.. okay. If you say so I give that the benefit of the doubt.

Actually banks are not that much better. For every dollar you give them they are allowed to lend someone else 10. That is also made up money that has no real world equivalent. Just numbers in a database. They will make profit of it anyways because they can give it away and earn interest. So money out of thin air than produces more money. The whole system is fucked up beyond repair.

That is why they will place it somewhere next to a highway with a nice parking lot and a gift shop. Which to be honest is the better option for all the people who get the urge to travel to remote locations because of a movie they saw... about a guy dying because he travelled to a remote location without proper preparation.

BSL4 is a bit over the top here. In general Coronaviruses are BSL2 with some, like SARS-Cov, being BSL3 as they cause potentially fatal diseases. Covid-19 is actually more likely to end up in BSL2 labs, but as its full extent is not known so far, it is mostly treated as BSL3. BSL4 however is not necessary. Ebola, Lassa, Marburg are all viruses in BSL4 and are way way more dangerous than any Coronavirus. Ebola kills between 83-90% of infected people. The problem with Covid-19 is that it is relatively harmless and thus spreads like a wildfire. People just realize too late that they are infected.

Why cite the Marburg virus here? It was an lab accident after all. Grivets from Africa being kept in an animal facility and infecting people is not a lab accident? Please do not give more arguments to the conspiracy theorists by citing inaccurately. Greetings from Marburg
