Comment Re:The SystemD Fiasco - Learn To Love It! (Score 5, Insightful) 65

I'm glad people are starting to talk about it more, cause the rage burns fiercely in me and I knew there had to be others. SystemD is a joke, and if this crap continues then Linux is going to be a joke, a pile of shit no one will use anymore. We shouldn't have to hard fork off of perfectly fine, good working distro's just to get away from the piece of shit that is SystemD.

It depends on the vehicle, I drive an F150 at work and the pillars blind me at certain intersections so bad that I angle the truck differently when I pull up to them. When you see people doing weird shit while they're driving they might be compensating like I do :D I've never driven any trucks at all before my current job so I always thought people driving them were just retarded rednecks that drive like shit.

I bet at some point in the future Poettering will turn out to be CIA/FBI agent, and made SystemD as crazy as it is so that backdoors could be implemented among the chaos. I mean how did he even weasel into the scene in the first place? Suddenly big Linux supports a guy with a crazy init system out of nowhere and then it was everywhere. The hatred for it is pretty universal among the community and yet it persist.

I worked at a Lowe's for about a month. It was one of the weirdest experiences of my life. This article might actually explain what was going on, they literally wouldn't give me any work to do and everybody in the store was watching me like a hawk like they thought I was going to steal something. It ended up freaking me out so much I just stopped going in. My face must've matched somebody who does steal a lot of stuff or something.
