I believe they are probably taking this angle because there is little chance they could sue a Chinese company. Its more likely they are trying to get Apple and Google to stop providing access, so kind of an injunction. Its true that they are also profiting from the alleged copyright infringement, and I would guess that is technically the same, especially considering they are the major/sole providers for the platforms generating what is probably all the profit.
