Finally, a little bit of respect from Adobe with this alpha release of the Adobe Flash Player 10 that was made available for all Linux 64-bits enthusiasts! As noted, "this is a prerelease version", so handle with care. Just remove any existing flash player and extract the new .so file in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (or /usr/lib/opera/plugins).

Opera Software ASA, maker of the Opera desktop browser, Opera mini phone browser and the Nintendo Wii web browser, has announced that they are filing an antitrust complaint against Microsoft. The European Commission, if it examines the complaint, will have to determine if they will follow the actions Opera is recommending, which are to "Obligate Microsoft to unbundle Internet Explorer from Windows and/or carry alternative browsers pre-installed on the desktop" and to "Require Microsoft to follow fundamental and open Web standards."
