The issue is that these higher standards will force car makers to build cars lighter and lighter thus making them unsafe.
Make the cars with smaller engines. Next make the cars smaller. etc...
The point being they want to do away with cars/trucks entirely and force reliance on public transportation.
Evolution and Creationism co-exist. Who created evolution ? God did !
Cigarette taxes don't go entirely to smoking reduction programs. They also go to increasing the funding of "State Children's Health Insurance Program". The point is not to eliminate smoking but to fund programs that have nothing to do with them. If all smokers stopped buying cigarettes the poor children will DIE ! Taxes only go to fund more and more government BLOAT !
Solar, wind and all these other so-called 'Green' energy projects will never replace the powerhouse stores of energy contained within the Big 3.
Coal, Oil & Gas, which are natural products of planet Earth. They are far more uses for fossil fuels than the romanticized fantasy of clean green energy. The Greenies will always fail. The Sun doesn't always shine, and the wind is not always blowing.
Creationism & Evolution go hand in hand. It is not either or.
Who started evolution ? The answer is GOD !
Who created GOD ? No one !
GOD is beyond time and space. GOD is beyond our comprehension.
He is the Alpha and Omega, he has no beginning and no end.
The Bible is not a science book, nor should it be taken as one.
But creationism is a scientific question. Who created all this ?
