Journal: Drop Beer, Not Bombs

Maybe the boys in Afghanistan should try this: It's a picture of Wing Commander Johnny E. Johnson carrying two kegs of beer underneath his Spitfire for the boys on the front line. According to him, the beer was quite welcome and didn't seem to suffer any ill effects from the journey over the channel.

Johnson was my favorite WWII ace, and led the Brits in kills with 38 during the war.
