I'm not just being sarcastic or anything either. I've been creating a world for a game and I wanted it to be mostly Sci-Fi, but at the same time I wanted it to use magic, have knights, and so on. But I'm not just saying "okay there's magic" or anything. This is mostly Sci-Fi, so it has to have enough real science for me to be happy.

Enter Quantum Field Theory.

May sound ridiculous, but well quite frankly so do quarks. And they work so why NOT this? Personally I think its BS until proven, and I seriously doubt you'll get enough "thaumatons" gathered in one place to turn water into wine.

Journal Journal: Official: No connection between Saddam and Osama.

The more aware citizens of the United States have known for a long while that there was no connection between the late Suddam Hussein and Al Queida. Osama bin Laden is actually quoted as calling him an infidel and traitor to Islam. I just noticed that NPR has a story on All Things Considered about a report verifying all this.

Biotech can be practical as well as Sci-Fi. Looks like some new chicken feed utilizes some new advances to get rid of "Bird Flu" incidents. Couldn't help but notice that 5 million people in developing countries die from diarrhea each year. That helps show how sheltered from some health issues many countries these days are, and it's good to see that this new chicken feed can help more than first world countri
