Submission + - chrome: noise but no picture

LordActon writes: "Using Google's Chrome, I notice that many, perhaps most, pages don't render correctly. These include a story today (about leap seconds) and Google's own comic book.

Yet when I searched online for similar complaints, I found only "Yeah, Google" stories about how great Chrome is and what a wonderful platform it's going to be. A few blog posts are less enthusiastic, but no one is saying the obvious: Chrome fails at its stated goal. It's supposed to be an application platform, but it actually can barely render even plain HTML.

Has anyone writing about Chrome displayed even 50 pages with it? Has no else noticed that a new tab opened by middle-clicking frequently doesn't render until it's refreshed? Why no scrutiny for the biggest browser announcement since Mozilla released its code?"
