Charmed has to be the most predictable, awful show on television today even counting reality shows. You lose IQ points just watching it. Without That 70's Show, I wouldn't watch anything still in production on TV. Half the time, I just watch my Futurama collection anyway.

Yeha, cable and bandwidth are provided free by my landlord.
Reality TV has destroyed TV.

Wickedly funny

Here in Canada we have a handful of wickedly funny shows. "The Newsroom" is very good. As is a show called "Made in Canada". Although I have heard that when it is rebroadcast in the US it is renamed "The Industry".

The guy behind "The Newsroom" is named Ken Finkleman. He served ten or fifteen years in Hollywood, doing workmanlike stuff. Mainly writing. But he directed the kind of Juvenile Airplane II and a Judge Reinhold vehicle.

the newsroom [www.cbc.ca] was a great series.. used to watch it regularly back when rick mercer [radio.cbc.ca] was on it.. but fact of the matter is that TV sucks [leftbusinessobserver.com], has sucked [tvtome.com], and will continue to suck [eonline.com]. aside from the simpsons, family guy, trailer park boys, or the discovery channel, i rarely turn on the boobtube. besides, i can get pretty much any episode of any show [suprnova.org] i want on this glorious information superhighway anyway after looking around a bit [mirc.com].

So there isn't a large amount of imported American shows like there is in Europe?
