  • How often do you guys get asked to moderate? I haven't been asked for a ages, it seems like over a year. I don't know why.
    • Every day for probably 3 weeks on reflection. I don't think I'm all that great as far as comments either. I argue w/ this jackass [slashdot.org] all of the time.
      • You can meta-moderate once every eight hours -- this is the same for everyone (who is eligible to meta-moderate, that is -- which is almost everyone). geoswan is talking about (regular) moderation.
      • The thing about arguing with Troed is that he doesn't accept facts and logic that disprove his arguments; rather, he just says "no, I'm right, you guys are ignorant. Look it up."

        He's an arrogant, anti-semitic moron cites virulently anti-Jewish/Israeli/American/Capitalist propaganda as credible sources. I'm actually surprised either of us hasn't been modded down to hell for telling him off, frankly.
        • Yeah, I actually told him I would slap him like the bitch he is if I ever met him. As a US Marine, I really hate his comments on the Amerian military.
          • It must piss you off to have some arrogant Eurotrash asshat try and tell you how things are at YOUR workplace from the other side of the pond.
            The bit where he was trying to tell you that the statue toppling was a hoax, despite your brother having been there? What a haughty, pretentious shithead.
