Journal: Consolidating your online account information

After being online for more than a decade I am starting to accumulate quite an impressive list of online accounts/identities. So much so that it becomes increasingly hard to memorize everything. Sometimes I even find myself re-registering at some lesser used websites because I forgot that I even had an account or I just forgot the login information. Therefore I would like to ask the community what would be the safest way to deal with this? Are there any good 'keyring' type software packages available (preferably on Win32/64)? How easy to use are they and what should I be aware of?
