Indeed, a technical solution is not needed for this problem as far as I see it. A little common sense and separation of work and personal life would go a long way.
Very true, 6x13 is the way to go. When I have to use Windows IDE's I install the truetype version, it makes programming in flexbuilder more legible. I may be stuck in my ways but I'm also not about to change something that clearly works for me.
The proportional example in the article is more difficult for me to read, to others it's the other way around. It all comes down to personal preference BUT....
Tapping M-/ completes the word, great when coding and typing variables names, it'll search buffers for matching words. Saves on annoying typos. Repeatedly tapping M-/ cycles matches.
