This is not a real closed loop system (Score 2)

I just recently have Type 1, since August. In the Netherlands a group of researches is actually working on a true closed loop system that works with both glucose and insulin. This is in my estimation the only way to really fix the problem. The Tandem is something which already exists. It's a great system, but by no means an artificial pancreas.
