Submission + - "Pioneer Anomoly" Solved? (skyandtelescope.com)

Kram_Gunderson writes: "The much debated "Pioneer Anomaly" may be solved. At a meeting of the American Physical Society this week, Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientist Slava Turyshev has put forth the preliminary findings of 15-years of research he has done on the so-called "Pioneer Anomaly". While it has been suggested that the Anomaly represents an unknown flaw in our understanding of gravity or an entirely new and unknown type of physics, Turyshev's research and computer models point to something far more mundane: uneven heat transmission from previously unrecognized hot and cool spots on the spacecrafts' body."
