Chimera is pretty compatible, does languages very well and has three things I absolutely need to switch over to Safari:
1) Tabbed Browsing (!!!)
2) KeyChain integration (!!)
3) Better cookie management

Personally, I don't have a problem with Safari's not totally Cocoa interface. They might as well publish a theme for it.
Currently, I use Chimera/Safari 50/50. Serious research I still do with Chimera...
