While or the mortality rate doesn’t sound terrible on the layman at 2-4%, the reports I’m seeing (I work in clinical healthcare) are showing that upwards of 20% of infected people need hospitalization, even at younger ages. I’ve already seen healthy 20-somethings on ventilators; they will live, but will leave with permanent lung damage.
