Ahh - I see your post history is 80% you saying 'You're stupid' and 'You're obviously not very intelligent' across multiple threads, multiple times a day. Money on you're a moderator using a pseudonym. I'm not sure how else all your awful, ill-informed but narcissistic posts aren't removed. You can't even keep your message consistent - you've changed your stance constantly to suit whoever you're trying to demean. You do realise that you come across as pretty simple, right? Confident and simple. I encourage anyone to go back and read your post history. It's just pages and pages of a neckbeard stating how intelligent he has decided he is, and how stupid everyone else is. It's a GREAT read!

It's a completely normal dividend for any high priced stock. Why they bother? Because the stock performs 4x better than one with a higher dividend. High-yield dividend stocks pay ~6%, or a payout ratio of ~40%. These are businesses that aren't expanding anymore. And they've also had stable values for the last 30 years. Apple pays 0.57%. This is how I know you have no idea what you're talking about.

Proctor and Gamble. Johnson and Johnson. High stock price dictates a low dividend? Are you still in high school?

So the dividend is wrong? Best jump on the phone and let them know that anyone who comments on the dividend must magically not know what the payout ratio is. What matters to me, the investor is the dividend. I'm not in for 20 years as they slowly up the ratio, or achieve a higher ratio after a buyback or 50. I love how you're the self-declared expert here. It's so cute.

It's expressed as a percentage of the stock price, of course. Where on earth do you get the 'high stock prices pay lower dividends" from? Your assertion that the stock price drives the dividend is incorrect (high stock value/low dividend?). It's about profit shared to the SOIs. We communicate it as a percentage of the share price. Did you check JNJ for their dividend? Procter and Gamble? You best send them a message that they must have made a mistake.. If a company printed too many shares (printed their own money), then any profit is going to be measly when shared out.

It's incredible that more people aren't worried about this. The insane amount of power in 'what you feed someone's brain' can't be underestimated. I don't understand why the world isn't freaking out about TikTok and other toxic, algorithmic addictive stuff like 'YouTube shorts'. Try asking why you can only disable YouTube Shorts for a maximum of 30 days? They have absolutely no official reason, but we know why. It's the cocaine in the Coca Cola. It's all getting very creepy. Try posting something respectable and rational on YouTube comments that isn't left leaning. For some magical reason, the AI moderation blocks it Thank goodness the Europeans are taking notice.
