Oh yeah, and I forgot to say I run Slackware since the first time I got in touch with the marvelous world of Open Source. What else...? Oh, I now use 'checkinstall' to create my own slackware packages (.tgz) and yes, slackware has a pretty good 'package managing system'. As already said it is called 'pkgtool'. To sum with it we have the slackpkg tool which makes our lives a bit more easier.
