Journal Journal: What does it take to get the governments to really act ?

Once again, i got through my favorite "peaks" of the day @ web. Once again i ran into two very scary story about our home, The Planet Earth. Tell me please why on EARTH these stories, don't lead into immidiate action ? Here are again two new articles concerning the issue, http://www.spacedaily.com/2006/060502045541.5eumq2oj.html and http://www.spacedaily.com/2006/060430064735.v9jrelsg.html typical results of ongoing global warming. And the speed wich it is evolving gets faster and faster by the day. What does it take to get the money focused world economy to realise that we don't need the word economy for a long, since we are going to loose the place to practise it. Am i the only one who gets suffocated by these hundreds of news about the holocaust we are facing and the fact that nobody seems to give a damn about it...or are there others ??
