On behalf of the City of Pittsburgh...

  • Here's hoping the fans still back Big Ben. The first rookie to have his first loss in the AFC championship game. That'll be a record that stands the test of time....
    • Ha to the muthafuckin' Ha.

Hey, at least he didn't blow his knees out at the vet.

The state couldn't take a Pittsburg/Philly Superbowl anyway.

      • 1. Hey, I cheered for the eagles the whole first game (though I caught myself pulling for the falcons a few times out of habit, but corrected myself. Certain things are just ingrained too deep to ignore)

        2. Which state? Cause Pittsburg is in Kansas.

        3. Q: Why does Donovan McNabb always eat his Campbell's Chunky Soup out of the can?
A: Cause anytime he gets near a bowl, he chokes.

    • You guys had a great season. Having been a Jazz fan all my life and seeing them come so close twice I can empathize. There is also an unfairness in that I am pretty sure that Pittsburg would enjoy the Super Bowl more than NE, which when you compare the excitement level to the ALCS, just isn't that interested.
    • Dude, the signs were all there. Sorry.
Big Ben will bounce back. Of course next year he'll have to fight the same choke tag that Manning has, so he's in good company.

Right now I give the Pats a 60-40 chance against the Birds. They are a great team.

And I had to watch the game with a dude who was rooting for the Steelers and kept telling me how the Steelers beat the Eagles earlier this year. I kept telling him that a.) it was irrelevant and b.) the Steelers weren't getting past the Patriots.

      I don't know
    • Someone always looses... And the fans will still back him, I'm sure. turnovers are dangerous, but all QBs make em, it's making too many in 1 game that kills you. he'll get better... just remember NFL stands for 'not for long'

Type louder, please.
