I'm not surprised that Medicare spending is so high. The people who get Medicare are those who are most likely to need more medical services. Medicaid covers people who have got into the habit of not seeing doctors until things are very bad. That habit comes from not being able to go see someone when symptoms start. Expanding Medicare, with no other changes, would lower the cost per person because most of the people added are healthier than those who currently receive it. And, most doctors over heard talk about Medicare prefer it to private insurance because the government actually pays, where the insurance companies make it difficult for them to get paid. Sounds like a win win to me.

Same here. When I code, I put music on and get into a flow state. The only problem I've found is not always understanding what I wrote.

I know a number of women who don't use purses and a few who would really love to ditch their purses. Also, the number one feature that women brag about in skirts and dresses is pockets. I carry a purse and love it when I have actual pockets. Sometimes you simply want your phone and keys and wallet on your person, not in a bag you have to lug around.

I left my last job right after a meltdown at work that followed a week and a half of mini meltdowns at work. The previous year, this same job caused me to end up in a mental hospital, twice. To say it was unnecessarily stressful is an understatement. And most of it was preventable. Inefficient systems that were not allowed to be replaced, a boss that liked to seeing by and disrupt your work, and not being allowed to do your job all made the whole place more stressful for everyone. At least i want the one who came in and started waving a gun around. Fortunately, that was before i started working there.

So, because D&D doesn't help with childhood trauma, those who experienced childhood trauma shouldn't play it? And here I thought that RPGs were better than therapy. I've been through a lot of trauma during my childhood and I go to therapy to try to deal with it. I also take meds to help keep my depression under control. Playing RPGs allows me to get outside of my head, which helps with depression and anxiety. I like to explore different parts of my personality when I role-play. Also, role-playing is used by therapists quite a bit.
