Comment The MUGU Project (Score 1) 88

The MUGU Project doesn't have any fancy 3D graphics or highly optimized game engine. However, it has excellent potential for intricate worlds and in-depth roleplaying.

The author neglects to discuss the impact of adventure and roleplaying games. People may *buy* a game because of flashy graphics, but they will only continue to *play* if the game is fun. The OSS model may not be the best for cutting-edge tech, but it can certainly produce some addictive fun. :)

In the MUGU Project, we are keeping the game engine seperate from the game world and graphics. This allows world design, such as Alira to be developed independently.

As with any Open Source project, we're looking for more tents in the bazaar. Check out The MUGU Project if you're interested in working on an addictive massively-multiplayer game.
