What doesn't work? Tracking people through the aisles allows some optimization (or the opposite, depending on how sadistic the marketing people are) of product layouts that isn't possible by simply analyzing sales after the fact, even if you can tie them to an individual over time. Of course they could just use cameras to do this much more effectively, but the researchers had to come up with some angle to justify their work.

Superhuman speed? The timestamps are one second apart in the only information that has been released. The switches were turned back on four seconds apart after one of the pilots noticed, so they were clearly in the physically off position before that. Your suggestion of "sneaky software" is idiotic. MCAS was an attempt to get around the need to train new pilots by maintaining the previous 737 handling characteristics in spite of airframe changes. The 787 was a new airplane which required new pilot training regardless of what was done. If you were going to commit suicide in such a way and knew that you were being recorded for posterity, would you admit to flipping the switches? Or would you do it, knowing that the situation was unrecoverable, and then deny everything? The report states that they brought an aviation psychologist in to consult, why do you think that is?

Functional illiteracy is rampant in public high schools now as a direct result of GWB's "no child left behind" whereby there are no consequences for students who fall short of educational standards. They cannot be held back grades in elementary, middle, and junior high school so you have freshman classes with compounded disparities between the overachievers and underachievers which teachers can't hope to deal with, especially in the 30+ class sizes that are the norm. This is to say nothing of the significant portion of parents who treat public school as daycare and nothing more.

"Common Sense" regarding an mRNA vaccine? "Common Sense" would tell you that a combination of chlorine and sodium would be poisonous and that a combination of hydrogen and oxygen would be an explosive gas. Masks absolutely work, or maybe tell your surgeon not to bother wearing his or hers so they can exhale some pathogens directly into your abdominal cavity. I assume that you're playing your favored role of ignorant troll, but no one promised that masks are 100% effective, nothing is, and different masks have different purposes. Surgical masks don't prevent you from breathing pathogens in, but they do keep breath droplets and sputum from going into others' eyes and lungs. But fuck everyone else, right? That's what America stands for to people like you.

Your combative tone, frequent ad hominems, and lack of citations don't help your cause and your accusations of sophistry elsewhere on this thread could be just as easily leveled at you. You come across as someone desiring to prove his own superiority via bombast rather than having a meaningful discussion that may prove persuasive to others. Surely there's a better use of the finite grains of sand in your hourglass.
