It's depressing to realize Big Brother is really watching. No online data is secure nowhere no how. If you keep it in your home, they still need a warrant to get to it. So far, the best way to keep your stuff safe from prying eyes is to get a private cloud, like a Cloudlocker (www.stoamigo.com) that works like a regular cloud service but stays at home. Look for more inventions like this to help protect us from the people supposed to protect us.

It seems like we've entered Alice's Wonderland and it's NSA's tea party. Their philosophy is, "We're hunting terrorists. We don't need no stinking 4th Amendment." And so those who oppose them are traitors. This is "SPIES GONE WILD" the sequel. Common sense tells me we need to take matters into our own hands to protect what little is left of our privacy. What can we do? Encryption won't keep NSA out entirely, but it will make it harder for them to pick us out of the crowd. Decrypting still takes extra time & effort and that little bit of hassle may be enough to keep their noses out of your business. The same goes for storing stuff on Dropbox, iCloud, etc. Take it down and stash everything in a CloudLocker (www.cloudlocker.it), which works just the same but it's private and stays in your home where they still need a warrant to see inside.

This guy was hilarious, and I loved how he maintained his sincerity while frustrating the NSA's pursuit of his personal information... at least for the time being. By now, they have a dozen men on his trail. I fear for what's in store for him, especially when he travels. He needs to start using encryption tools for email, cell phone calls and text messages. And he has to take his file down from Dropbox, iCloud, or wherever, and stash them in a private cloud like Cloudlocker (www.cloudlocker.it), where they still need a warrant to get inside.

Only in America is $52 Billion spent on a Black Budget that goes down a Black Hole. No one knows for what, or if it accomplished anything intended, or if it did anything other than make a mockery of the 4th Amendment. "We're hunting terrorists. We don't need no 4th Amendment." We're going to see a growing flight to privacy tools as the repercussions of the Snowden revelations sink in. In addition to the anonymizing and encryption tools, there's now a growing number of private cloud providers emerging, like Cloudlocker (www.cloudlocker.it), that eliminate the fatal flaws of Dropbox, etc. I think the personal cloud providers are eventually going to take over this space.
