Yes, everything worked fine for PCs that where experiencing DHCP issues if you manually configured the IP but wouldn't connect if you switched back to DHCP.
It appears that PL/I (and its dialects) is, or will be, the most widely used higher level language for systems programming. -- J. Sammet
