Comment What about peoples training data set? (Score 0) 56

Do human artists need to verify they have never trained on copyright material? That anything the produce has no bits of copyrighted art that may have slipped in unintentionally or intentionally? Wasn't it Picasso that said “good artists borrow, great artists steal.”? I don't mean to side with AI only that the field of art and copyright is a bit murky at the best of times. That being said no human can truly scrape data like a computer and no artists is going to have near unfettered access to material like many of these companies so there is that to consider. But if the litmus is training on copyrighted material I'm pretty sure nearly all human artists would fail that test as well.

Government issued devices are the same as company devices, people should not be using them as personal devices. If said park ranger wants to post a video on how to not get eaten by a bear he can whip out is own phone and post it not use the device with potential access behind government firewalls. Also there are people and divisions whos job it is to post stuff like that and they will have the devices and access they need to do that, some rando ranger doesn't need to be posting random facts for internet points on company time using company devises.
