Now, now. Make sure your read the whole post before you reply. Orbit is nothing more than a constant state of falling. When "pushed from orbit" it will come down somewhere. As for why:

A) Who could stop a super sonic shell from orbit? No real defense at this point.

B) Time from decision to strike to killing the target. Cruisers or loitering aircraft still take time to get in place. With enough birds in low earth orbit. There wouldn't be a spot on earth that you couldn't hit in an hour.
