I subscribe to PC mag out of habit I guess, usually Dvorak's collums are speculative at best, but one thing that caught my eye this month is:

That is very cool! I am in the same boat: I have a cellphone and a cable modem, but no regular phone service at my apartment in Grand Rapids. Of course we do have a regular phone line (and DSL) at our place in Seattle.

Dvorak is an idiot

I can't believe he still has a job writing professionally for the computer industry. His columns are always the worst kind of regurgitated myth, rumor, and urban legend. And his version of Microsoft Word seems to have a problem with the bold button.

If you followed the link and read about gynecomastia, don't believe what he wrote. Soy is very healthy, and the Japanese (who eat orders of magnitude more soy than most Americans) do not experience the problems he describes. In fact, they have much lower rat
